About Me!

Hey! My name is Keva Elder, I am 23 years old, and I am from Newnan, GA. In my free time, I enjoy music, playing drums and guitar, shopping, and traveling! I have over 10 years of experience in video production and 5 years of experience in photography, and graduated from Georgia Southern University with a B.S. degree in Multimedia and Film Production in 2024. I discovered my passion for video production and photography at a young age. Growing up, I was extremely shy and quiet around others. However, that would all change when it came to being in front of the camera. I first started making videos on my YouTube channel called Keva'sWorld at the age of 11, where I would upload videos every week, such as challenges and skits. The moment I got in front of the camera, I could instantly feel all of my shyness melt away. Making videos became an outlet for me to let out my personality and show my true self, which is something I found hard to do in real life at the time. Following, I became fascinated with cameras and learning more about the video production process.

While making videos started out as a fun hobby, I became more serious about it as a career when I took my first production class in high school. On the first day of that class, I knew film was something I wanted to do for the rest of my life. The classes I took not only taught me more about film as an industry, but also trained me to use a wide range of professional equipment and develop my skills in shooting, editing, directing, and scriptwriting. During high school, I started doing video work for clients on the side, such as commercials and events, as well as trying out photography by taking portraits of friends. I fell in love with creating content for other people and seeing the look on a client's face when I finally got to show them the finished product. I continued doing videos and photos for clients throughout college and was inspired to expand my services into my own videography and photography company, Keva'sWorld Productions. The name of the company is of course a nod to my old YouTube channel, being that I have it to thank for starting this passion of mine.
